It facilitates communication between patients and healthcare professionals and assists in decision-making. It helps develop a network of social support for both patients and healthcare providers. It promotes awareness among patients and the general public about health-related problems that can lead to favorable outcomes.
Revolutionizing HIT has enabled patients to have immediate access to their health records. This supports patients in being informed and involved in their treatment. Additionally, healthcare informatics systems enable people to manage their care better. Type 1 diabetes patients must maintain a log of their glucose and insulin levels. 34 percent of these patients find it more desirable to utilize electronics logs in place of paper logs, and over 60 percent found it more interactive and interesting to use. HIT is making great progress in the medical and peripheral industries and will expand further.
